The Muslim Congress High School Alumni Association is thrilled to announce Homecoming 2024, an engaging four-day celebration under the theme “Restoring the Spirit of the Muslim Congress High School.”This series of events is designed to honour the school’s storied history, reconnect alumni, and inspire current students, all while fostering a sense of unity and purpose within the communit

From December 20th to December 29th, 2024, the campus and surrounding venues will be buzzing with activities that combine career development, spiritual reflection, sportsmanship, and celebration.

Day 1: Career Fair, Prayer Services, and Reflections

The festivities commenced on December 20th, 2024, at the Muslim Congress High School (M.C.H.S.) Campus and the Newport Street Mosque. The day focused on inspiring and guiding students while strengthening spiritual bonds.

The career fair featured distinguished alumni sharing their professional journeys and providing practical advice to students. This event is a platform for students to explore various career paths, engage in mentorship opportunities, and gain insights into the world beyond school.

In the afternoon, everyone gathered at the Newport Street Mosque for a heartfelt prayer service, led by esteemed Islamic scholars and alumni. This spiritual gathering will serve as a moment of gratitude, reflection, and invocation for the future success of M.C.H.S. and its community.

Day 2: Parade of Excellence

On December 21st, 2024, the M.C.H.S. Campus hosted the vibrant Parade of Excellence. This event brought together alumni, current students, staff, and community members in a spirited march that celebrates the school’s rich heritage.

The parade featured dynamic displays of school pride, including marching bands, cultural presentations, and creative showcases. The colorful procession through the campus  symbolized unity and the shared commitment to upholding the legacy of Muslim Congress High School.

Day 3: Sports Day Extravaganza

Sports Day, scheduled for December 22nd, 2024, will take place at the B.T.C. Barrack and promises to be a day of fun, teamwork, and healthy competition. Students, alumni, and staff will participate in a variety of sporting events, fostering camaraderie and school spirit.

Activities will include football matches, track and field events, volleyball games, and more. Alumni teams will take on current students and staff, creating an electric atmosphere filled with cheers and laughter. This day is not just about competition but also about strengthening bonds and promoting physical wellness within the M.C.H.S. community.

Day 4: Dinner and Fundraiser Gala
The grand finale will be held on December 29th, 2024, at the elegant Sinkor Palace. This dinner and fundraiser gala will provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of M.C.H.S. while looking ahead to the future.

The evening will feature a lavish dinner, inspiring speeches, and entertainment, including musical performances by alumni and local artists. The highlight of the night will be the fundraising program aimed at supporting school development initiatives, such as infrastructure upgrades, scholarships, and curriculum advancements.

The gala will serve as a moment for alumni and stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to the school’s mission and vision while enjoying a night of elegance and camaraderie.
